really good location district access best design

the hotel location proves really good, near several historical attractions. gion district access is easy, i also enjoyed the nightlife. the shower had the best design, a feature i appreciated. the staff were friendly, i hope to return.

the room did not have a warming toilet seat, this was a slight dissapointment.

sanjo keihan station is only two minutes walk away. i appreciated proximity to the river and the station. many cafes and restaurants are very close. main shopping areas are a short walk away.

the breakfast was amazing with a great selection of food. the options changed daily which i loved. the staff was super friendly and helpful, i liked that a lot.

the room was very small i was sad. it also didn't have a window. the toilet was not functional which was an issue.

the hotel is very clean the furnishings are excellent the bar is lovely. there is free coffee in the lobby 24/7 that is quite useful. the restaurant is on the same premises too. they provide excellent guest services with a fast room service.

The location's proximity to the underground station made exploring easy. The staff spoke English fluently, a HUGE help. My room was clean and featured a practical layout. I noticed the dining room provided delicious food and the staff delivered excellent service.

The mattress was soft, and this affected my comfort slightly.

Fantastic Experience!

historical attractions warm design best shower

The location is really good. Many historical attractions are nearby. The Gion District plus shopping and nightlife across the river are very close. The design aesthetic seems warm, cute, and well executed. I thought the shower was the best I've experienced in Japan!!!

I found plastic bottles are used at this hotel. This practice is not sustainable, in my opinion. The room also had plastic amenities, which I did not like.

clean room comfortable bed

i just loved my superior twin room! it was super clean and the beds were so comfortable. the hotel's location was perfect, close to the train station, so getting around was easy. complimentary coffee and snacks in the lounge were a really lovely bonus, it was amazing! the restaurant and cocktail bar were fabulous too, i had a blast.

the room was a little small, and fitting two suitcases in it was tricky.

small room closet space

the restaurant area had a very peaceful vibe because of its ground-level location among a bamboo garden.

The room i had was quite small, a major issue when trying to manage two suitcases, it became very cramped and disorganized. the closet also didn't help much. Despite its appearance, it lacked sufficient space, restricting what i could store. this limitation impacted the overall comfort and functionality of the room quite a bit. i found it frustrating. the room was not very practical.
